Shouldn't You Be Ker Clinking?

A Play for Money Game

Sherry Asbury

If you are into playing games on the net, Ker Clink might be for you. Despite it's funny name, Ker Clink is a legitimate site where people can make money playing games.

This is the link to the site: http://www.kerclink.com/. Once there you can download the game and a cute little treasure chest will live on your bottom bar. When it flashes green, you have another chance to play.

There are several games: Solitaire, Clear the Clinks, Pirate Ship, Kerspeller, Crazy Kerclinker, Runes, Tiles, and others. This range provides a game for anybody's interest. You can play all the games listed to the left of the game, but only once per session. If a game comes up you don't care for, just go to the list and pick something else.

Crazy Kerclinker has an obnoxious man who yells at you if you pick the wrong letter in the guessing game. He is covered with a shovel of dirt each time you choose the wrong letter. He is so obnoxious you have a hard time deciding if winning is more important than burying the little creep. You find letters for words and phrases, but Vanna White, he isn't!

There is regular solitaire as well as Solitaire 21. These are the standard versions of the games and you get a lot of points for winning one of these.

Points - the object of the game as you try to increase your score, which can be converted to cash. If you have plans for a mansion in Beverly Hills, this won't finance it! But it is a few pennies - and for having fun!

Clear the Clinks is a hectic game. You have a grid with three symbols to start out. The object is to clear the board, or get as high a score as possible. You need to have five like symbols in a row to clear them. However, each time you click a clink to move it, another symbol comes on the grid. You can only move symbols that have clear sides. This game takes skill and strategy, and a strong set of nerves.

Pirate Ship requires you to shoot the bad guys before they get you. Drop Clink has a ball at the top of a board and it falls wherever you click, but other balls drop at will, so your play can be blocked many directions.

Tiles is basically Mahjong. There are squares with symbols on them and you click two alike until the board is cleared, or until you have no more moves. Runes is another game where you have runic symbols to line up in rows. The object is to fill a row and it will disappear. It is tricky because the runes will only fit in certain squares and you have to find ways to fit them in to make your rows.

Kerspeller is great. You are given ten chances to find words on the board by clicking letters. Each word has a numeric value and your goal is to make ten better words than the machine.

So, why aren't you Ker Clinking?

Sounds interesting. I love me a good game of Mahjong. I'll have to check that website out.
