Shout Color Catcher Dye Trapping Cloths
Finally, an Affordable In-wash Alternative to Ruined Laundry!
Of course, you should always be careful when washing new clothing for the first time and also when mixing colored and white laundry in the same wash load. New clothing, depending on its color, has a tendency to bleed a small amount of dye into the water the first time it is washed. White clothing can be washed with colored, but you run the risk of your white clothing gradually becoming dingy and grayish in color when you do. Even when colored clothes are not brand new, enough dye can still emerge from their fibers to cause this to happen, and this can also cause colors in the wash to loose their brightness, leaving them dull.
Shout Color Catcher Cloths are made to absorb and trap dyes that leave clothing and are deposited in the water during the wash cycle. You use your regular detergent and any other laundry additives as always, and add a Catcher Cloth (or 2 for larger loads). You will see the colors trapped in the Cloth, instead of in your clothing. The Cloths are not reusable, but with a reasonable price of $3.99 for 24 of them, you won't run out too quickly. Don't worry if you forget to remove the Cloth, for they are safe to put in the dryer, and won't harm your clothing if you do.
You'll notice that your colored clothes will look brighter, and you white clothes will be a bright white after the use of Shout Color Catcher Dye Trapping Cloths. You'll save money doing your laundry, too, as there will no longer be a need to wash separate loads. This will be an ideal product to send to college with your kids, as they can wash all their clothes together and not have to pay to do a white and a colored load. Children still at home can do their own laundry now without the need to sort clothes. A product that saves Mom money and time is always a plus!
Look for these little gems the next time you go shopping for laundry products. You'll be so glad you did!

Post a CommentI have used Shout Color catchers for some time now, and today, they failed. I put 4 brand new tank tops in the wash together, and the gold one came out with dark marks all over it. I am still going to use this product, but we should not say that you will "never" have to worry about ruining your good clothes again.
