Shower, wash away the grime of this day,
Make me new.
Waters, keep the guilt at bay,
Make me new.
Make me new.
Waters, keep the guilt at bay,
Make me new.
I keep looking for that same old thing.
it's the only thing I can do
other than wait
for time to change
and to make of me a fool.
I felt around in the darkness
hoping to find a hand.
Some help when I need it
would be a nice and welcome change.
