Showing Heart

To have heart is to stand for something,

To have heart is to put up a fight everyday,

You have to have heart to deal with tough times,

When things get rough people with heart shine,

On the court or sitting at the end of the pine in time people with heart always persevere,

It brings me to tears to see someone fight a good fight,

When you see the right thing being done,

When you know no matter what the scoreboard says you still won,

If you're alive the game isn't done,

I know few people with heart,

They are hard to find,

In my mind I'm all heart,

But I know I lack many parts,

But just trying to be a better person shows heart!
