Sick at Home

My nose is sort of runny, outside I can see it's sunny
I hate being sick, I wish it was a trick
To lay in bed all day and not go out and play
Being bored is to lay in bed because I have a stuffy head
My nose hurts from tissues, but I have other issues
I have shakes and chills, I hate to take the doctor's pills
I might have measles or mumps, I have some awful bumps
I'm so ill and week, I can barely speak
My throat is very horse, I must let the flu run it's course
My mom says I have a cold, at least that's what I am told
Oh wait, my moms gone to work, I feel like such a jerk
To ditch school I had lied, time to go and play outside
