Sierra Vista, Arizona's Budget Christmas Shopping Trip

Jesse Mathewson
We all want to save a little money and tis' the season to do so! So with that in mind let us look around Sierra Vista, Arizona for budget Christmas shopping stores.

Every once and awhile Wal-Mart located at 657 State Highway 90 pulls through with a great savings, especially on things that make children smile. Toy's and their associated batteries tend to be high on the list every year for our children. Cruising through the aisles of Wal-Mart, we rarely go by the toy aisle simply because we know the automatic response. Today however, let us make a quick stop and see what they have. For your little girl they have a dollhouse specially designed for the 2-8 range girls, at 29.94 it will not break the bank and will provide endless amounts of fun. For the girl (or boy) who is older they have the tried and true EasyBake oven, and at 19.77, this classic is a great way to get your kids out from in front of the television and doing things with their hands. For all the children Wal-Mart carries a large selection of bicycles as well, priced anywhere from 59.00 up, Wal-Mart also includes all of the accessories making this a great purchase for children as well. For the boys in the family they carry everything from Rockets (build your own sets) to Action figures and the best pat is you can get many of them for under 15.00.

Our next stop is the local bookstore; Hastings located at 3758 East Fry Boulevard carries a large line of brand new as well as lightly used books for the discerning readers in your family. Priced well within the conscious Christmas shoppers budget limits these books spell good times ahead for everyone. Remember at Hastings you can also trade in your other lightly used books, dvds, and even music cd's and games. Use the credit to save even more money.

Next on the list there is the old standby K-Mart this store is centrally located in Sierra Vista at 2011 East Fry Boulevard. Remember Sears and Lands End now is part of K-Mart so no matter what you may be looking for they most likely carry it. They have inexpensive and well-made clothing, satisfying your budget Christmas Shopping needs! Moreover, do not pass up their discounted brand new appliance section; someone in your family may need a new washer or dryer.

Lastly, we travel out to the Mall at Sierra Vista located at 2200 El Mercado Loop traveling south on state highway 90 it serves up a great selection of retailers whom are looking for your business. From budget friendly Payless Shoe stores where they have the famous buy one get another half off sale, to those simply luxuries from Bed Bath and Beyond they are a one stop shopping location set up to cater to your every need. Remember, your holiday is as bright as you chose to make it. Do not be afraid to go over budget, simply shop smarter and enjoy the smiles and happiness you see when people open your presents up.

Remember, shop locally and save money, time, and help your community! Have a budget friendly Christmas and happy holidays!

Silly me...I'm not shopping this year. But, if I were, and I were somewhere MUCH warmer, I would be there.
