Signs That Your Relationship is Ending, and What to Do About It

J.M.

If your girlfriend or boyfriend makes it a habit of rolling their eyes every time you say something; or has become apathetic from everything between the relationship's future and how you donated your left foot to a good cause. Then these are the signs it's the beginning of the end.

If there's anything humans hopefully learned by puberty it's that all things are fleeting: birds, flowers, mushroom clouds and most important are the attitudes. Attitudes change often and folding into the half-lotus to contemplate the nature of a change of heart isn't required.

If two incredibly intelligent nations that were once allies can overnight become enemies due to disagreements on how to tax and distribute white bread, or any of the thousand reasons disrupting fragile things; then romance ending when forgetting to buy a carton of two-percent milk shouldn't be of any surprise, but it always manages to do so.

Fortunately, for the future of mankind, procreating the species doesn't require long term relationships, but usually inspires a sense of urgency for reasons obvious, that is, if your fortunate enough to participate in such matters. God bless the so called honeymoon stage where two new lovers somehow managed to brainwash each other in thinking their God's gift to the human gene pool. After this stage, however, one of the two eventually becomes enlighten to the fraud in the other, thus moving on to the next so called better thing that continues the "all past relationships led me to you honeymoon" following the "this is bullshit you're a fraud" cycle completion." Assuming everything above is a reflection of truth. Then what must-knows could be implemented for saving a relationship heading towards oblivion?

Here is one.

Read between the lines. Advice in the form of constant constructive criticism from your partner is usually much worse than it really is! An example would be, "Honey, maybe you should lose some weight..." Really means, "I don't feel proud standing next to the great pumpkin." If you feel the "he or she should love me for me" clause is just another excuse in disguise causing you to fail in making those healthy changes in your life. Then reinvent yourself now! Change now! If you have a weight problem, then you can change your appearance completely in three months. You can do it. Good luck.
