Blurry Vision
The first symptom of having cataracts is having eye problems. Your eye vision will definitely be affected. Things may appear blurry to you if you have cataracts. When you have an eye that has a cataract in it your vision will be very cloudy and dim. As your cataracts get worse so does your eye vision. If your cataracts get bad enough you may have to have cataract surgery to improve your eye vision
Bright Light
When you have cataracts you may want to stay away from bright lights. Although having cataracts are generally not painful you will find that your eyes are sensitive to the light. It is easier for you to see in dim lights. Bright lights may cause eye sensitivity and you may also find that there is a glare when you look at things. You may see a halo effect. Wear a hat or sunglasses when outside because it may help your eye sensitivity due to having cataracts.
Driving at Night
When you have cataract symptoms you may want to cut back on your driving your car at night. It might be very hard for you to see especially with the glare of other car's headlights shining in on you. Not only should you stay off the roads for your safety, but you should stay off the roads for other people's safety. Eye problems are a serious matter, and you should always get checked out by your eye doctor if you are experiencing any eye issues. So try to do all your errands during the day, and stay off the roads at night.
Eye Change
Symptoms of cataracts include having a physical change of your eyes. They may become milky white or yellowish in appearance. You may find that that your eyes also change in vision eye strength. If you notice that you have to keep going into your eye specialist's office for a higher eye prescription, you may have an eye problem such as cataracts. You may also experience double vision when you have cataracts. There are
many signs and symptoms of cataracts, and if you experience any of these symptoms always get checked out by your eye doctor.
