Silent Screams

Don't you hear her?
She screams -
quiet in the midst of chaos
her words muffled,

upon the daily world
or have the capability
to lighten her burden
however temporarily.
And if she does not think,
she screams
though none hear.

She sounds so much like me.

I hear her.
Don't you?
