The SillyBandz animal bracelets remind me of the jelly bracelets that the singer Madonna wore and were popular a while back. The Silly Bands will break though, if you stretch them too far. When a child is wearing the Silly Bandz rubber bands as a bracelet it rests as a wavy pattern on the wrist. Because of the premade shape it is in Silly Bandz will fit wrists from preschoolers to teens and adults. Basically they are a one size fits all bracelet.
The Silly Bandz animal rubber bands have been around since 2009 and made many great stocking stuffers that Christmas. The Silly Bandz bracelet line has been expanded in 2010 and is still going strong. There has been TV news reports and many online articles written about the fun jewelry Silly Bandz.
Silly Bandz are:
Made in China
Made of non-toxic Silicone
Fun for kids
Cost less than $5.00
Available at many retailers including: Hallmark, Claire's, Walgreen's, CVS, Justice, Target, K-Mart, Amazon.com, and eBay.com
Kids are collecting, sharing and trading their Silly Bandz animal bracelets with friends and schoolmates. The bracelets also make inexpensive rewards or birthday presents for a friend. Silly Bandz bracelets come in packages of 24.
Silly Bandz Packs: Pets, Zoo, Sea, Basic, Dinosaurs, Western, Alphabet, Princess, Rock Band, Spring, Fantasy, Baseball, and Rainforest. Some of the Silly Bandz animal bracelets also are sparkly and even glow in the dark. Kids love Silly Bandz!
Now many schools are banning Silly Bandz or the knock off silly bands. The band bracelets have become a distraction for many students and are interrupting learning. Other school systems are banning the bracelets because they have been ruining the schools expensive vacuum equipment. It is best to check with your child's school about their policy before sending them to school and having them taken away.
