Silver Pond Restaurant in Colorado Springs

For over 10 years now I have been enjoying the Silver Pond Restaurant in Colorado Springs. This is absolutely the best Chinese food I have ever tasted!

The Silver Pond Restaurant is located at 5670 North Academy Blvd. The atomosphere is quiet, elegant with low lighting, music and wall-to-wall windows. There is a beautiful saltwater aquarium at the entrance. There is a bar area as well. If you prefer, you can call ahead and order take-out. They even deliver if you live within a 3 mile radius of the restaurant.

The service is excellent and the waiters quietly anticipate your needs in a nonintrusive way. This is a great place to come to celebrate a special occasion such as a wedding anniversary, or a dinner with business clients. There is a large banquet area near the bar where large groups are served dinner.

Some favorite items on the menu are the Hot and Sour soup, sesame chicken, Hunan Beef and Chicken with vegetables. The vegetable eggrolls are delicious as well. There are various styles of authentic Chinese cooking represented including Cantonese, Hunan, Szechuan, and Mandarin.

If you enjoy vegetarian foods, this is the place to go! They have many vegetarian selections. The food is all natural with no MSG or preservatives. Dining at Silver Pond is an experience you won't soon forget! The food is fresh, healthy and delicious; the atmosphere is elegant and refined; and the service is friendly and welcoming.
