Sim City 4 Cheat Codes

You know the addiction if you have played Sim City games. Well, Sim City 4 is no different. Before discovering these cheat codes for money, power and freedom, the game had become very difficult, and I had been thrown out of office more times than I remember because I had run the budget into the ground.

The first step to discovering the cheat codes is to open the box. The box is opened by using the control key and "x" simultaneously. At this time, you can enter the code

Although there is no cheat for unlimited money - there are certain ways that you can have an extra thousand, or ten thousand dollars. One thousand dollars can be gained with the code "weakness pays" and if you wish to use it multiple times simply hold the shift key to keep the cheat box open. As well, you may use the arrow key to scroll up instead of typing "weaknesspays" into the box repeatedly.

To gain ten thousand dollars you can use the code "riskymoney" but this comes as a risk! When I used it, It blew up many of my buildings! I would not advise doing this to a city that has been fully developed.

There is another way to begin the game with millions of dollars if you wish to do so for your own Sim City. The first step is to put in the code "you don't deserve it" this creates all of the rewards that are usually not available - after using this code, go to the rewards section and build only things in your city that are going to make your city income through the month. These things are; area 51, the casino, and toxic waste dump, military base etc. Next, put your game on cheetah mode - therefore, you will have lots of income coming in and no city expenses! When you get to the amount of money that you wish, to start with tear all of those things down and begin your city!

There are cheats that you can use to get rid of the power and water requirements for your city with codes such as "fight the power" and "howdryiam" - this will work for some, and not work for others. From my experience, you will still need power plants, but I have not had to use the lines, or the pipes from the water station.

With these cheats you should be able to have a great city in little time! On the lighter side, if you wish to change your Sim City advisers into llamas - you can enter the code "dollyllama" - of course, would you take their advice than?
