SimCity 3000 Cheats (PC)

To input cheats for the game, you'll need open the text box first. To open the text box, load the game and start a city. Once everything is loaded, hold SHIFT + CTRL + ALT + C. After you have held down all four keys, a text box should appear in the top left.

Now that you have the text box up, enter the codes you want below, one at a time.

i am weak

This cheat will cause everything you purchase to cost nothing. This is perhaps the biggest cheat in the game and will allow you to build a large city in no time. While this cheat allows everything to become free, it does not show your money as unlimited. If you had 50,000 simoleons from the start, you'll still have 50,000 simoleons. The difference comes when you purchase something, and your balance remains the same.

call cousin vinnie

Typing in this cheat will give you 250,000 simoleons. Unlike the cheat where everything is free, your bank account will increase. A starting balance of 50,000 simoleons will become 300,000. With this said, you will see your money go back down when you purchase items.

let's make a deal

Neighbors will send you several deals. You must be connected to them already for this cheat to work.

load terrain c:

Be cautious when using this cheat. It will destroy your entire town, but let you keep all of your money.

traffic lights

This is another beneficial cheat in the game. By typing in this code, you'll notice a large fall in your city's pollution and traffic levels. Lowered pollution and traffic levels will increase your city's high wealth population.

power to the masses

If you're short on power, use this cheat. You'll now have access to solar power, fusion and other power sources you didn't have before.

water in the desert

This is a useful cheat if you're short on water. Using this cheat will give you access to the treatment facility, water tower, and all other water facilities not available previously.

salt off

This cheat will turn salt water into fresh water. No longer will you need to purchase a water facility to turn the salt water into fresh water. If you wish to turn salt water back on, type "salt water on" into the cheat box.

pay tribute to your king

Typing this in will give you all of the game's reward buildings. No longer will you need to reach certain goals to obtain the rewards.

the birds

Typing in "the birds" will create a flock of seagulls. The cheat might not be valuable in building your city, but it can provide a small edition to the game.
