The 2008 Simi Valley Fourth of July Fireworks Extravaganza will be held at Rancho Santa Susanna park on Friday the 4th of July. The Fourth of July Fireworks Extravaganza is brought to the public for free by the Rancho Simi Recreation and Park District, The Rotary Club of Simi Valley, and the City of Simi Valley. Gates open at 4 pm to the public. Inside you'll find vendors, food, drinks, dancing and entertainment. A kids area will be open for the children to play, get their faces painted, and a play area. Parking can be found across the street at the Metrolink station and other parking will be provided elsewhere near by (to be determined) if the Metrolink station is full. No parking will be allowed in the Albertson's shopping center or at the Hidden Valley Apartment Complex! Limited parking can be found at Rancho Santa Susanna park as well.

The Fireworks display will start around 9 pm. Fireworks are shot off on the east field behind the Recreation building. Stake your place along the tree line early to get good seats! Although gates open at 4 pm, areas can be staked out for seating along the trees or where you feel best, long before 4 pm. Bring your chairs, blankets, BBQ's, friends and family and have a great time at the park!

The Simi Valley Fourth of July Fireworks Extravaganza is known to be the best in Ventura County so you won't want to miss it! You'll regret not coming!
