Simon Monjack, Husband of the Late Brittany Murphy, Found Dead
Following Brittany Murphy's death reports indicate that Simon Monjack continued to reside in the home he shared with Brittany and her mother, Sharon Murphy.
Reports issued by police state Simon Monjack appears to have died of natural causes. However, no information concerning Monjack's health prior to his death were made public. As with Brittany Murphy's death, an investigation will follow. Formal autopsy results will be made public when they are complete.
Brittany Murphy's death in 2009 was a surprise to her fans and others. Reports state that Murphy had been ill, possibly with symptoms of the flu, prior to her death. Murphy's death was determined to be caused by pneumonia. Some think Murphy's death may have been prevented if she had sought medical attention.
Apparently a phone call to 911 was placed by an unnamed woman reporting Monjack was not breathing. It was not stated whether Sharon Murphy was at the residence at the time of Simon Monjack's death.
Rumors state Monjack's death was due to a drug overdose. However, as with the deaths of Brittany Murphy, Casey Johnson and Cory Haim, people may have to issue a retraction after Simon Monjack's autopsy results are released.
