There is now a new procedure called the Simoni Lift aka The Mini Facelift. This is the hottest thing from LA and has been nicknamed the "future of facelifts". Named after its Beverly Hills creator, Dr. Payman Simoni, it is a gentler and safer alternative to the traditional facelift. Patients remain fully conscious throughout the whole procedure, yet feel nothing. Sounds good, doesn't it? After a pre-op analysis to evaluate your skins' quality and elasticity, the surgeon administers a local anaesthetic before making a series of tiny incisions, starting at the hairline, running down the front of the ear, then up behind the ear. The difference being is that the Simoni facelift doesn't remove any fat or muscle. Instead, the fat and muscle are simply moved back to where they were when the patient was in his/her early twenties. The result is far more natural than the old-fashioned, taut "facelift" look. Best of all, this procedure only takes an hour and recovery time is much less as you can go straight home afterwards. Patients can usually go back to work after about 5 days.
The other unique aspect of this mini-facelift, is that you are asked to sit up rather than lie flat. This is done so that the surgeon can get a better idea of where your face should be lifted to. Additionally, as only a local anaesthetic is administered, you do not experience the bruising and swelling that lasts up to two weeks. You often get this with a general anaesthetic as it's much harsher on the body.
The new mini facelift will give you great results, which will look natural not fake. There's nothing wrong with enhancing what you have and this new facelift will make it seem as though you've always been naturally beautiful. It'll be your secret! Who says we all have to grow old gracefully?
