You have a video file that needs to be split up into separate files and this singling out needs to be done without any editing or re-encoding on your part! Consider the task as done if you have Video ReMaker installed in your system. It has the ability to split a video file into separate single files instantly. Also you have the added advantage of deleting the unwanted scenes before you hit the save button. Here are six simple and easy steps to split video using Video ReMaker.

Step 1: Download Video ReMaker

Step 2: Install Video ReMaker
Once the download is complete run the VideoReMaker.exe file. It will give you a set of instructions to be done. Follow these and the installation wizard will complete the set up.

Step 3: Insert the original video:
Once the Video ReMaker is set up and ready to use insert the video to be processed. Go to Add File(s) button and select the video file you want to split. A Windows Explorer window will open up. Click on the browse option and select the video file you want. Once your video file is installed you can remove any unwanted ones by hitting the Delete file or the delete all files. To add files use the Add Files button. To include various files into one single file all these files should have similar video resolution and frame rate. The aspect ratio and the bit rate should also be identical to add them all into one single file.

Step 4: Spot the unwanted scenes by the Detect Scenes mode:
If you want to split your video first you have to delete unwanted scenes that take up a bulk of the file space. First click on the Detect scenes mode. This will help to find any changes in the file and also find the scenes that you want to be deleted. The preview video button when clicked detects the portions that are to be deleted between the scenes. Click on the Start Detection button. This will open up a scene search and give a complete list of the detected scenes on the Video ReMaker window.

Step 5: Highlight the scenes to be deleted:
Once you have the set of scenes to be deleted go to the Preview Button and click on it. Highlight the entire scene by pressing the left click button on the mouse and dragging it from left to right without taking your finger from it.

Once the whole area is highlighted go to the Zoom Button. This converts the scale of the video on the timeline. This will point the beginning and end line of the scene to be searched. With this button you can find a particular place in the movie by using the scale up timeline representation. To search for the subsequent scene you can use the scale down timeline representation. You can go back to the original video using this zoom button so you can see all the changes that you have done so far.

To correct the boundaries of the scenes you have selected click on the Selection Range button of the Deletion Tool bar or you can go to the Top Menu and click on the Selection Range. You will get the following window:

Now you can mark the starting spot and the end point. If there is change in the View instantly the selection has been marked and you will find the alterations that you have carried out in the Preview area that too in real time. This step is not necessary and it is better to sidestep this option and refrain from selecting it. Just alter the boundaries and go to the Set button and click on it. You get to view the whole selected scenes from beginning to the end. This covers all the scenes that you need to mark so that they can be removed from the video.

Step 6: Split video
When the whole process is done you can click on the Remake now button! This opens a Save File window featuring Name, destination Path and video format. Select the appropriate file name and other particulars. Make sure that you select the Save All button as this helps to save the separated files.
