Simple and Fun Family Recipes for April Fools Day!

As small children, we have all tasted the salty, pasty texture of play dough; give your children an edible toy with Peanut Butter Play dough! This recipe makes 15 servings.

You will need:

3 ½ cups peanut butter

4 cups confectioners' sugar

3 ½ cups honey

4 cups dry milk powder

1 large bowl

First take your large bowl, mixing all ingredients together, dividing into fifteen portions and refrigerate or freeze until ready to eat... I mean play with!

Have you ever seen pigeon poop on your windshield and wondered what it tastes like? No!? Then you wouldn't like this recipe, try making your own! This recipe makes 20 servings.

You will need:

5 cups of your favorite crunchy cereal

3 cups of rice crisp cereal

2 cups skinny pretzels (may need to break)

1 bag of white chocolate chips

2 ½ cups of mini marshmallows

1 large bowl

Wax paper/cookie sheet

Spatula

Toss all dry ingredients in a large bowl. Melt the chocolate chips in the microwave for about one minute on high (depending on your microwave) whiles you wait, set up your cookie sheet and lay out wax paper on the cookie sheet. Pour the white chocolate over the dry ingredients and mix well, and then using your spatula spread it out on the cook sheet to cool. After it cools, break and enjoy!

Ever wonder what dog food tastes like? Why not conjure up your own version! This recipe makes 12 servings.

You will need:

½ cup of butter

1 cup of creamy peanut butter

2 cups milk chocolate chips

1 (17.5 ounce) package of corn & rice cereal

1 pound confectioners' sugar

Freezer bags

Melt peanut butter, butter, and milk chocolate chips, stirring together until well mixed. Next take a freezer bag and place some cereal inside and pour some of the liquid ingredients over the cereal. Shake until well covered. Pour in some confectioners' sugar and toss until covered, then enjoy!
