You can get a greeting from the President for the birth of a new baby, a wedding, an anniversary, and birthdays. Of course, there are some requirements each event must meet to be considered for a greeting. You must be a United States Citizen so you will have to include the name and address of the honoree and their form of address (Mr., Mrs., Ms., and Miss). You will need to give them the date of the baby's birth, birthday, wedding date or anniversary since there are time limitations for requests. Then you will need to add in your name and daytime phone number since you are requesting the greeting. You can send this information by mail to:
The White House
Attn: Greetings Office
Washington, D.C. 20502-0039
Alternatively, you can send in your request by fax: 202-395-1232, and you can also go to their website to fill out the form online. Baby birth greetings need to be sent within his or her first year and will be fulfilled within 6 weeks. Wedding greetings will be also need to be requested within 12 months after the event to be considered. If you want a birthday greeting you will have to be age 80 or older just make sure you send out your request 6 weeks ahead of time to allow enough time to process it before his or her day. If you are celebrating your 50th or greater anniversary, they will gladly send you a greeting just make sure to send out the request six weeks ahead.
Each greeting is printed beautifully on cream stationary and slightly raised black text. The envelope and greeting inside are typed in a lovely script font. The white house seal sits on the top of the inside note card and appears to be signed by the President and First Lady. Of course they did not really sign it, but it is a replicated print out of their signatures. Here is the baby birth greeting I received after the birth of my child:
Welcome! We are Delighted to join your family in celebrating your arrival. You have already brought much happiness to those around you, and you've just gotten started!
We are glad you are now part of the wonderful American story. Our Nation holds great opportunities for you. May you make the most of your unique gifts and may happiness and love surround you always.
Sincerely,
George Bush
Laura Bush
If you want to comment in an email, you can send your thoughts to comments@whitehouse.gov but you might not receive a reply message since they already have a large amount of emails sent to them every day. You can also call in with your comments by telephone 202-456-1111.
Let us say you want to extend an invitation to the President you can mail your invitation to:
The White House
Attn: Scheduling Office
Washington, DC 20502-0184
They suggest that you send your full name, address, and phone number so they can respond to your request. Of course you can also mail any general letters to the main address just make sure you do not include any thing that you would want returned to you. You cannot send perishable gifts at this time since they have tight security.

Post a CommentHRAdvance auditing is more like a hostile takeover. They threaten in letters that if you do not comply they will make it so that you cannot even participate in COBRA insurance. They approve some of your family and reject others even when full Security Information is given AND Government Issued Birth Certificates Drivers Liscense even REPORT CARDS! And still they reject because as a single parent you didnt claim them for taxes. Tell me that this government is not run by MONEY. The sad thing is these same children have been covered for 10+ years by private insurance and now one is covered and two are being thrown off. One of them is AUTISTIC! Please explain that!~Rachel

Great information! My daughter's first birthday is next week, and I certainly wish I had known about it previously. I am glad you have a such wonderful keepsake for your child, and nice to see that your emails do actually get read at the White House.

Does the last address include sending letters of disgust or suggestions that MIGHT be considered to help our current state of affairs? If so - I am ON IT!
