Ingredients for Sweet Homemade BBQ Sauce:

¼ cup ketchup

½ cup brown sugar

1 tsp Worcestershire sauce

1 tsp dried mustard

1 tsp horseradish sauce

Directions to make Simple Homemade BBQ Sauce:

Mix together ¼ cup of ketchup, ½ cup of brown sugar, 1tsp of Worcestershire sauce, 1 tsp of dried mustard and 1 tsp of horseradish in a bowl.

Refrigerate until you are ready to start grilling. Brush sauce generously over chicken, steak, ribs or any meat you are cooking up.

Ingredients for Spicy Homemade BBQ Sauce:

1 cup of ketchup

2 tablespoons brown sugar

¼ cup of water

¼ cup of white vinegar

1 teaspoon of paprika

1 teaspoon of chili powder

Directions to make Spicy Homemade BBQ Sauce:

Mix together 1 cup of ketchup, 2 tablespoons of brown sugar, ¼ cup or water, ¼ cup of white vinegar, 1 teaspoon of paprika and 1 teaspoon of chili powder. You can add more chili powder to make it hotter if you like it extra spicy.

Refrigerate until you are ready to grill. Brush sauce generously over chicken, steak, ribs or any other meat.

    All about the BBQ when the weather warms up. Hmm . . . I think I'll try this recipe out. I've always used store-bought, might impress the BF if I whip up something from scratch. :)
