Make your own Flower Greeting Card
Flowers are the ultimate symbol of friendship. A cute daisy or yellow rose can brighten your day. To make your own flower greeting card you will need various shades of green construction paper, hole punch, ribbons, glue, glitter, and various colors of construction paper. You can make your flower pop out on the card by using several layers of construction paper for the leaves. Cut out various sizes and glue the leaves on one by one on each other. Create a stem and leaves with different shades of green. Get creative, there are no rules.
The Perfect Baby Gift
Fathers and mothers loves to receive hand made gifts for their new bundle of joy. Make them a special gift and figure out a way to incorporate a matching hand made card with it. If you plan on making a blanket with Winnie the Pooh material from the craft store, you can also take some of that material and use it to make a home made card. This will work if the material is thin, rather than bulky. Look at the photo for an example of card made with fabric. If you plan on giving the new parents a gift featuring little ducks you can also make your own card with baby ducklings walking across the card.

There are many places where you can find materials to make your home made greeting cards. Some of the basic materials can be found at your local grocery store or even around your house. Many supplies can also be found at craft stores or your local target or Wal-Mart. Specialty craft stores are typically the best places to go to find the best supplies, especially when you are looking for something unique.
