Simple Mobile, a "nontraditional" communications company, is based in East Irvine, California. The company has introduced yet another device for contract companies to compete with: phone service with phones they once offered without a contract. But wait; they're causing a stir for other prepaid companies as well. They are the first prepaid wireless company that offers fully accessible phone and data features without having to buy the phones offered by the prepaid companies.
If your friend or relative has moved up to an Android from Blackberry, Simple Mobile has a plan so you can own the Blackberry and enjoy many of its features without having to pay the price.
Here's how it works. Potential customers log on to Simple Mobile at www.mysimplemobile.com. After carefully surfing the site, reading the FAQs and other pertinent information, purchasers will then chose a plan. The most expensive plan cost $60 a month for unlimited talk, text and web. The purchaser will pay $12.99 for the sim card kit, which will ship within two days. If by chance the phone they are planning to use is locked by the contract carrier, Simple Mobile has solutions to unlock the phone. Customers can transfer their old or current phone number to their new phone once they've activated the Simple Mobile service.
Needless to say, this could cause a huge problem for large wireless phone companies in a market that's highly competitive already.
The folks at Simple Mobile have no shame in their game. The fairly new mobile phone and data service boasts having executive leaders from the major communications companies at the helm of Simple Mobile.
Their logic? Keep it simple.
