Recipes for the Whole Family to Enjoy

Cooking is a lot of fun, but it can be something you don't always look forward to, especially if you have an entire family to feed! Many people work all day and then when they come home in the afternoon, they don't feel like cooking! There are lots of recipes out there that are perfect for those who are always on the go with limited time. Here are a few great recipes that you can make with very few ingredients and very little time. Enjoy!

Beef and Mashed Potatoes Bake

1 pound ground beef
1 can Condensed cream of mushroom with roasted garlic soup
1 tblspn Worcestershire sauce
1 bag frozen vegetable combination, thawed
3 cups of hot mashed potatoes

In a medium skillet over medium-high heat, cook beef until browned, stirring to separate the meat. Pour off fat. In a 2-quart shallow baking dish mix beef, 1/2 can of soup, Worcestershire sauce, and vegetables. Stir the remaining soup into potatoes. Spoon the potato mixture over the beef mixture. Bake at 400 degrees for 20 minutes.

Cheesy Beef Stroganoff

1 pound ground beef
2 cups of water
3 cups of medium egg noodles, uncooked
3/4 pound (12 ounces) Pasteurized prepared cheese, cut up
1 can condensed cream of mushroom soup
1/4 teaspoon black pepper

Brown the meat in a large skillet, then drain fat off. Stir in the water. Bring to a boil. Stir in noodles. Reduce heat to medium-low. Cover and simmer until noodles are tender. Add cheese, soup and pepper. Stir until the cheese has melted.

Chicken, Broccoli, and Rice Casserole

1 box Broccoli Rice au Gratin
2 cups boiling water
4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
dash of garlic powder
2 cups of frozen broccoli
1 cup shredded cheddar dheese

Heath oven to 425 degrees. In a 13x9-inch baking pan, combine rice and contents contents of seasoning packet. Add boiling water and mix well. Add chicken, sprinkle with garlic powder. Cover and bake for 30 minutes. Add broccoli and cheese. Continue to bake covered for another 8 minutes or until the chicken is no longer pink inside.

Chili Stew

1 box or bag of frozen sweet corn (10 ounces)
2 cans chili (15 ounces each)
1 can stewed tomatoes
Chili powder

In a large saucepan, cook the corn according to the package directions, then drain. Stir in chili and tomatoes. Cook until heated through. Finally, stir in the chili powder to taste.

Chicken with Light Ravioli

1 package light cheese ravioli
2 boneless skinless chicken breast halves, cut into strips
1 large green pepper, thinly sliced
1 package marinara sauce (15 ounces)

Prepare the pasta as directed on the package. Spray a large nonstick skillet with cooking spray. Add chicken. Cook and stir on medium-high heat until cooked through. Add green pepper. Cook and stir one minute. Stir in sauce and cook on low heat for 1 minute or until thoroughly heated. Toss with pasta. Sprinkle with shredded parmesan cheese.

Hopefully these recipes will be useful for those of you who are limited with time. They are great tasting recipes and require hardly any effort at all to make! The whole family should enjoy them and you may end up adding them to your favorites list!
