Make sure whole family is using the same word to avoid confusing on the puppy. Choose a word where everybody is comfortable with. After few training, the puppy starts to identify that the specific word is the indication for him to eliminate. So every time you mention the word he will understand what you want him to do. Reward your puppy when he finishes his business during the potty training process. Some masters choose to reward the puppy his favorite snacks. Anything will do. The reward is to express your appraisal towards him for being a good dog. They will soon discover that potty at the designated area will be the best choice.
