There may be a million ways to find new love or to cultivate a long, simmering union but here are some fun ideas that may be brand new to some and a refresher course for others.
The Big City is A Meat Market
This includes the biggest city that you can get to. If you are in New Jersey of course the big city you will think of first is New York City. Restaurants, movies, shopping, plays, parks and museums are among the most obvious things to do and places to meet new people. And if you are already deep in love this is a great place to go to just walk, talk and rekindle.
Fairs, Festivals, Carnivals and Neighborhood Block Parties
Priceless as this is, most people miss these grand events to get "the hookup". Usually towards the end of the spring up into the end of the summer, all types of cultural heritage festivals, county and country fairs, and impromptu neighborhood celebrations that occupy blocks of neighborhoods become the best environment to meet new people because it has probably already just a fun day anyway regardless. Couples easily find replenishment in just getting out of the house and doing something silly like face painting, attempting to tackle a huge ball of cotton candy, or taking a ride on a Ferris-wheel atop a cute rainbow pony is sure to spark the flames again.
Beaches and Boardwalks
The sweaty, sore body, now in the gym is worth the boardwalk later. As the summer surprises everyone, it is time to head to the beach. Many beaches have boardwalk life filled with games, restaurants and rides. There is also plenty of folk to mingle with. Couples can make a day of lying on the beach and spend the night leaning over the banister of the boardwalk, looking out to water and talking about anything and everything.
Outside Sporting Events
Baseball, soccer, football and other outdoor sports activities are great places to score. The fact that you don't like sports should be irrelevant when planning a summer of passion.
Local Pools
In most towns, local pools have extended hours, usually catering to an adult crowd in the early evening. Who knows, the lifeguard may be a hottie!
Summertime, as I know it, is just a great time to shed stress, pounds, unwanted exes, crappy jobs and anything that you are not passionate about.
