Simple Ways to Earn Extra Money

Rik Rodriguez
If you have been on the Internet for more than a day, I am reasonably certain that you have seen or been contacted by at least one person about how to make money online. Many of these programs, systems or methods can be effective. But it isn't necessary to pay for information on how to make money the easy way, because their are plenty of people willing to tell you how they make money online for free. You do not need to know any big secrets really, you can find out all the secrets you need just by experimenting your self. First off I like eBay mostly because you can see other people selling similar things and kind of get a gauge for what your item would be worth. I also like it because I often find things for very inexpensive prices and get the resell rights to them. Turn around the same day and sell them on eBay for twice as much as I payed for it.

So basically you can find items to sell if you don't have any yourself. Most of us have plenty of junk we can get rid of around our homes. In fact the average American households have over $2000.00 dollars of items that could be sold on eBay or Craigslist. Craigslist is similar to eBay except there are generally no fees involved. You are allowed to sell your new and used items on Craigslist, you can sell cars, boats, even motor cycles. Of course use common sense when using a public forum to list and sell your items. If I am selling a boat for instance I will only except cash. In fact I just sold a sailboat on eBay that I bought on Craigslist and made over $1000.00 profit. Did I mention I sailed the boat for over a year. So what I am saying is there are lots of easy creative ways to make money online. You may want to learn how to list an item on eBay and Craigslist. Both offer online tutorials on their websites.

What a great way to spring clean and make extra money in the process. Clean out those closets and create extra income by selling items you no longer use or maybe never did use. Many times I have received gifts that I have never used sometimes I donate them but these days many of the items are worth near $100.00 and could be sold easily online for 50% of that plus shipping. Its great to use eBay and Craigslist to determine the value of the items I have for sale. Many people post pictures and state the prices right i their ads. It helps me determine what I will sell my items for. If you run out of stuff to sell ask you friends if they have anything they want taken away for free. Figure out what its worth and share the profits with them! Get creative, its fun and easy to make money online!

A great way to make some extra cash is by selling your own books. One thing that almost everyone has in their home are books. There is a website, www.bookjingle.com , that purchases your used and/or new books. They make an instant offer on your books and even give you a label to ship the books to them for free. Payment is sent quickly after the books received, usually less than 2 days. My experience has shown that they offer more than used bookstores and definitely more than a yard sale. You won't get rich but you will make some extra cash!

Ask people to give you their phone numbers instead of posting your # on Craigs.
Call them from Skype, much more secure communications.

I've thought about trying Craigslist. A friend of mine has been able to sell a lot on that site. The only trouble is, she also started receiving a lot of nuisance phone calls trying to scam her.
