Ever had those days when you look in the mirror and think, "whoa... what just happened to my eyes? They're so puffy!", and then have everyone else comment about it saying that you seem to look stress, and tired? However, the next few days the puffiness doesn't seem to reduce no matter what you seem to do.

With our stressed and busy world, it's not uncommon to look over to the person next to you, and notice that their eyes seem to be puffier. Puffy eyes can occur for multiple reasons like too much stress, rubbing, and lack of water. Puffy eyes take away your overall appearance, and make you appear a lot more stress and tired. Also, you may sometimes feel irritated with the puffiness, and distracted from work. Some people may even find that puffy eyes makes them lose self-esteem; whatever your reason, there are many different ways you can help reduce puffiness. Just some simple guidelines, and hint can help pack up the puffiness.

For example, you can chill spoons or cucumbers, and chill the eye area. This normally will help reduce the puffiness. Relax on the sofa for a few moments, put some chilled cucumbers on your eyes, and just enjoy the moment. In a while, you'll notice a reduction of puffiness - also, you'll get to enjoy those extra minutes of relaxation. A good, and easy way is to leave a spoon in your fridge for a couple of minutes. After a while, take the spoon out of the fridge, and put the scooping section on your eyes for a couple of minutes. Do this normally in the morning when you wake up, and you'll definitely notice that the puffiness will reduce.

Also, remember to sleep the required amount of hours every night. Sleeping a good amount of time will help keep your body healthy, and your appearance as sharp as ever. Normally, you should aim for around seven to nine hours of sleep regularly. Go to sleep at the same time, and it'll become more of a habit. While I understand we are all busy with our work, remember to keep your body healthy. Sleeping won't only help you reduce baggy eyes, they'll help you restore energy for the next day! If you lack sleep, chances are one day you'll feel too exhausted to pay attention.

Drink 8 cups of water a day, but remember, the food you eat also contains water, so it's not really necessary to actually drink 8 cups of water. Drinking plenty of water will reduce water build-up within your body, and alleviate your eyes.

There are many ways to help reduce puffy eyes. Normally, you'll be able to reduce puffy eyes just by living a healthy lifestyle, and eating a balanced diet!
