Simply Meaningful Valentine's Crafts for Her

Valentine's Day is a day to celebrate the ones you love. Some guys go all out and buy jewelry and others stick to the basic chocolates, stuffed animal and cards. I suppose it all depends on how long you have been in the relationship and how serious you both take the holiday. Sometimes the simplest things mean the most and they usually don't cost that much. Anything handmade comes from the heart. It means you actually took the time to make something with your own hands. That means so much in itself. Here are some sweet and simple craft ideas that guys can do to make their gal feel super special this Valentine's Day.

Handmade cards are so special. They don't have to be fancy. The best cards have a sweet sentiment on the inside that really describes how you feel about your lady friend. Or you can write her a love letter! When was the last time you wrote her a love letter? Make your own envelope and decorate it to make it extra special. It is a gift that she will cherish for a lifetime!

Chocolates and other sweet treats are always a sweet treat! Most boxes of chocolate have their chocolates nestled inside a little pastry cup. Cut out little circles of paper and write something you love about her on each one for example "your smile" or "the way you laugh." Wrap the outside of the box with a band of cardstock or plan wrapping paper and write "I Love..." Then when she eats the chocolates she can read all the things you love about her.

Make a couples bucket list. This could be a fun thing to do together this Valentine's Day. It could be part of a gift for her, a promise that you will do something on the bucket list at least once a year together. Some things might be as big as going on vacation to Hawaii or go to another country together. But you will want to have a lot of little meaningful things you can do together like having a picnic at the beach while watching the sunset or visit a celebrity restaurant.

Breakfast or brunch in bed is always a winner especially if you are cooking for a mother. Allowing a mom to sleep in and then bring her breakfast in bed and letting her lounge all afternoon while you take care of the kids is a priceless gift. You could have the children make simple paper flowers and place them in a small vase to decorate the tray of food. This will keep the kiddos busy while mom is asleep. The kids will also have fun helping you cook the food for mom.
