Introduction
If you are an underground rapper, then you know exactly how hard it is to get your name out. Recently, rappers have started taking their marketing into their own hands. Hosted by underground rapper ConFlix, Sin City Radio Live is giving other underground rappers a chance to get their music heard and expand their fan base. The show also allows other underground artists to call in for interviews and even co-host on some nights. This is definitely not your average radio show. Mz. Crucial from The CrucialDiva Radio Talk Show even called in and joined them on their first night. She also features an underground music night every Thursday at 3pm EST.

Uncensored and Uncut
Unlike traditional radio stations, Sin City Radio Live can play raw, uncensored Hip Hop with no commercial interruptions. The original goal of the station was to help local artists from Las Vegas gain exposure. It soon became apparent that local artists were not ready to embrace an Internet radio station right away.

Before the first broadcast was ever made, Sin City Radio changed it's format to include all underground artists from all over. The show received a lot of song submissions for their first show and even a few of the locals sent in songs to be played. Their first show was a success on multiple levels. After the first broadcast, more people were eager to jump on board, and a few even booked interviews.

The show doesn't follow any kind of traditional format, which is what makes it interesting. There is no censoring of guests, so artists are free to express themselves as they would with their friends. Listeners are also free to call in and talk to guests, ask questions, and request songs. All this is possible because of a website called www.blogtalkradio.com.

Plans For The Very Near Future
If you were to submit a song for their show right now, you might make it into rotation within two weeks, unless of course you are a guest, but good luck getting a guest spot with less than a one month wait. Their show runs every Friday and Saturday night at 9pm PST. Starting 05-02-08, Friday nights will be reserved for discussing the business side of music. ConFlix has confirmed that underground music will still be played on Fridays, but the main body of discussion will be for teaching artists about the business side of music.

Sin City Radio Live also plans to announce album listening parties for underground artists. For a small fee, an artist can book any night (Sunday - Thursday) to have their listening party on air. The listening party will be a special two hour show, hosted by ConFlix, in which the station will only play music by that particular artist. The show will feature interviews, fan call ins, and much more.

Conclusion
Much can be said about Sin City Radio Live, but it would take a lot more space than we have available to cover every aspect of this show. If you are underground, getting on this show is a must if you are looking to broaden your reach. Sin City Radio Live is picking up speed. All the shows are recorded and available for download, so anyone who missed the live show can still play it or download it all through the week.
