Sinful Colors Nail Art Polish in "Bad Chick" White

French Manicure

Having been a long "do-it-yourself" type of girl, I have long scoped out the drugstore brands for the best wearing colors for doing manicures and pedicures at home.

Having run out of my usual trusty white, I went to the drugstore in search of something to tide me over until payday. Having used and liked Sinful Colors Nail polish in "Daddy's Girl" I decided to look at their other colors.

So I saw just in time for the Fourth of July they had put out limited edition Nail Art series of red, white and blue Nail Art polishes.

So I grabbed a bottle of Sinful Colors Nail Art polish in "Bad Chick" and went home to do my French Manicure.

The first thing I have to say about this polish is that it is Nail art thickness polish. What that means is the consistency of the polish itself is more like honey and goes on a bit thicker so it is opaque.

The benefit is that for Nail art purposes you won't need to redo a design. Also to note is the brush included with the bottle. It is a tiny thin brush which makes drawing dots and lines a breeze.

As I mentioned above the consistency of the product is thicker than normal nail enamel. So if you are making a detailed design exspect at least 15 minutes drying time and consider using a Instant drying top coat.

When I used this product in a French Manicure I had mixed feelings. On one hand I liked that I needed one coat to cover my tips, the tiny brush let me get a straight line, and the white really popped.

Conversely, you need to work fast because it sets quickly. The tiny brush make it difficult to cover the entire tip of my nail, and the rounded smooth top that holds the brush is difficult to handle.

If I had to rate this product out of 5 stars I would give it 4. For what it is meant for it is a great bargain for the money and with a decent top coat it really is quite fun to add little flair to your manicure or pedicure.

While I will not be using this for a French Manicure again I will be picking up some other Sinful Colors Nail Art polishes to give to my friends who do their own nails as gifts and would recommend them.

A great top coat and base coat can extend the wear of any favorite color. Find one that works for you or ask your nail technician for their recommendations.
