Sinful Colors: Purple Diamond

Subtle Purple Nail Glaze for a Steal

Sinful Colors Nail Enamel has been on this beauty blogger radar for quite some time as a great source for bold colors that are affordable, fast drying, long wearing, and affordable at about $1.99 USD.

However, I do have to admit the color palette in the past has been a bit on the bold side for many of the shades so I was leery about picking up any of their polishes to use on my manicures.

Recently on a shopping trip to Rite Aid I came across a buy one get one free on Sinful Colors and was able to pick up a bottle of Purple Diamond.

A sheer to opaque nail enamel that is the lightest violet with iridescent sparkles throughout it is feminine and summery to the hilt.

Because this shade is so sheer I applied four coats to make the polish opaque on my nails. However, this enamel would easily do double duty as a shimmer over bare nails with two coats.

I am planning to try this enamel with white tips for a sheer violet shade manicure using only one coat. Also I am most definitely excited to see how this enamel looks paired over top of some of my matte pinks, white, reds, and even my matte gray polish!

For a polish so sheer and so seemingly demur the opportunities to create, mix and match are endless.

The coats of polish dry to the touch within two minutes of application and with the use of a good top coat manicure can last for 6-10 days with normal touch ups.

I would say if you are a fan of sheer, or light polishes pick this one up it is definitely a keeper.
