Singer Rihanna on Top

Rihanna is on top of her game right now from award shows, to movies, not to mention you can't turn on a radio without hearing her soulful voice and her music video's are all over the television. The Barbados, Caribbean Island singer has suddenly arrived on the scene and is hitting the music industry by storm.

Rihanna moved to the United States in 2005 to focus on her music career later that year she was signed to Def Jam records under a six album contract and release her first single in June 2005 titled "Pon de Replay" which didn't do so well on the charts, but considering some of her favorite singers are Beyonce and Alicia Keys she couldn't let that hold her back because she is a survivor.

Rihanna shortly came back on the scene hitting the top of the charts with her number 1 singer titled "SOS" off her second album that was released in April 2006. She was determined not to be just another one hit wonder. Her third album is by far the best she has ever done and it shows how far she has come, and how much she has grown in such a short period of time most only dream to do it the way Rihanna is doing it.

Her third album Good Girl Gone Bad is one of the most played albums out right now this young lady is really doing her thing. Her first hit single off this album "Umbrella" featuring Jay Z hit the top of the chart in no time Rihanna had no where else to go in this industry but up with her third album especially working with and collaborating with stars like rap hero Jay Z, Ne-yo, Justin Timberlake, and Timberland she had very few chances of failing and she have been on top ever since.

Could she really get as many sells, get as much air play, or be on the cover of every magazine that you can think of like her favorite singer Ms. Beyonce Knowles time will only tell most say it can't be done that Rihanna don't have it in her like Beyonce, while others say she is a huge star in the making and can pull in off with a stable solid foundation.

Rihanna certainly have the potential and is successfully paving the way for the younger generation she is only 19 if she can do this now think of what she can do in 5 more years. I would have to say that Rihanna is surely a young lady beyond her years so keep your eye on her she gonna do bigger things in her career.
