Single Mom Vacation Planning

DJG08
Some single moms just rule out vacations as impossible when they look at their finances. And it may well be very difficult, but you need to have some "time away", so start saving for a brief break from your multiple responsibilities. Not only will you benefit, but your children will be glad that you are refreshed when you get back. Of course, there are ways to take your kids along with you and this makes planning even more necessary.

After you've found a way to survive as a single mom, the idea of a vacation seems so remote to you. Don't let the chance pass you by just because you are afraid to break the good and trustworthy routine that you have established. Even a three day respite is worth the time in the way you can recuperate from the constant demands of single mom duties and chores. Set a goal and keep working toward it. Remember the old saying "Three things are needed for a good life". These are:

1) something to do (you've got plenty of that)

2) something to love (you've got that too)

3) something to hope for (you need this).

Number 3 is the one to focus on for your vacation (something to hope for). Keep hoping and planning and you will definitely achieve this goal.

One way to start is to begin looking around on the internet for some helpful guidance. Some sites that are focused on this topic, can provide some very good ideas and thoughts on how to proceed toward your goal of a great, enjoyable vacation. But you need to start searching and you have no computer. Well, in many states, the local library provides internet access that is free of charge, and you can take the kids along, too. Your children can be looking in the kids section while you use the internet.

All-inclusive resorts give you a chance to know, in advance, just what your total costs will be for a stay at their resort. While some of these may be too expensive, they do give you an idea of what a trip to that particular area may cost. Seeking out these rates will add good solid price information to your knowledge of what the cost may likely be.

Some hotels now offer single parent rates, so be sure to ask for these rates in your planning guide.

Be persistent, be persistent, be persistent.....did I say be persistent? Keep trying and your vacation will happen. You will return refreshed, rejuvenated and ready for more life as a single mom.
