Single on Valentine's Day? Have a Man-Hating Movie Marathon

The Perfect Movies to Watch on Valentine's Day If You're Single

Looking for the perfect movies to watch when single on Valentine's Day? Have a man-hating movie marathon! Though these films do not promote the hating of all men in general, they will definitely make you hate at least one or more guys. No romance here ladies. These flicks will leave you feeling very good for being an unattached, strong, and independent woman.

"The Devil's Advocate"
The two main stars of the film, Al Pacino and Keanu Reeves, offer nothing in the terms of the man that you would want to spend the rest of your life with. One is the devil and one is his plaything who is wishy-washy right though the end. Start your man-hating movie marathon with this one as it shows you that men, though you may dream of a life changing prince, will always just be who they are: human. There is no such thing as the "perfect" guy.

"Enough"
Starring Jennifer Lopez, this 2002 film shows the progression of an abusive relationship. One of the only decent guys in the story is the one who teaches women what to do when they've had enough. Watch this to realize that there are worse scenarios than being single on Valentine's Day. You could be fooled by one of these monsters and have to fight for your very life. It also helps to ingrain that you should never put up with being disrespected or abused in anyway just to be with someone.

"Masters of Horror: The Screwfly Solution"
Take note: this addition to a man-hating movie marathon is not for the faint of heart. It is graphic and gory in some parts, heartbreaking in others, and enraging the whole way through. Even Jason Priestley cannot make you wish to be with any of the men in this film. If you want to go to bed being glad that you're single on Valentine's Day, this should be the last movie that you watch.
