Horseradish is also a good natural treatment for sinus infections. Horseradish stimulates the body to get rid of mucus which is the major cause for painful sinus infections. Horseradish, like eucalyptus is very powerful and you do not need much to be effective. Often horseradish is already in your pantry so obtaining it is easy. Alternatively you can purchase the fresh plants at most health food stores.
The Neti pot with origins in the Ayurvedic medicine is a great natural treatment for sinus infections. It is a small pot that looks like a teapot and the genie pots. Using the neti pot consists of filling the pot with warm water and salt. Often the inclusion of other herbs can be used in the neti pot. According to webmd.com the neti pot is very popular and does work to relieve sinus infections. The neti pot can be purchased at many pharmacies, health food stores and online.
