With a voice comparable to Jewel, Jennifer Filzen is quickly rising as one of America's hottest newcomers to the Music Scene. With soothing vocals and captivating lyrics, Sirena has turned out to be a major success for Singer/Songwriter Jennifer Filzen. The debut album features 11 of the hottest tracks which were all written and performed by Filzen with Tony Tinsay on Guitar. The album features an ecletic blend of Latin, Pop, and R&B. Some of the most notable songs to mention off the album include Face the Dark, Sirena, and Don't Let Me Go.
Face the Dark and Sirena are both beautiful ballads with emotional lyrics which are meant to tell a story to the listener. In Face the Dark, the song depicts the story of a woman who is trying to let go of the love she once had. The chorus outlines the true meaning of the song by saying, "When I face the dark, the fears, and the losses/I will help myself to let go of the pain." Tony Tinsay helped create a Latin approach to the self-titled single Sirena. Jennifer Filzen showcases her strong songwriting talents on this song, with lyrics such as, "I will kiss you with the sea mist/I will caress you with the lapping waves." This song tells the story of a woman's spirit which still lingers on with her lover. The woman's spirit is still with the lover, which he can sense near the ocean. Produced by Vince Hudson, Don't Let Me Go is an mid-tempo single on Jennifer Filzen's debut album. The track is a love-inspired song with lyrics such as, "When I found you it was Heaven/Like an angel sent you to me/You became my inspiration." The lyrics depict a person who is reaching out to their lover in hopes of the lover returning.
If these songs are any indication, Jennifer Filzen is sure to amaze listeners with her singing and songwriting talents. The debut album Sirena continues to be a major success for Filzen, who is quickly becoming a huge star across the Nation.
