Sister Wives, Kody Brown's Fourth Wife, Robyn Sullivan Brown
Robyn is a single mother of three children. Her ex husband, David Preston Jessop, is not happy that the private lives of his children are being portrayed on television, although there is no word on whether he objects to the polygamist lifestyle.
Why Robyn would want to raise her children among 13 other step children is mind boggling, but she seems to be so giddy over the attention that is being showered upon her by Kody, that at the moment she does not care about what is best for her children. Does she think that Kody will be able to keep that up indefinitely.
Kody Brown now has to divide his time between four wives and sixteen children. Robyn will only see him every fourth night, unless of course he is arrested for felony bigamy, then she will not see him for up to five years.
If this all sounds like a sad joke to you, believe me, it is not. This is the reality for a family of 21 including sixteen children. The wives have volunteered themselves for this treatment, but the poor kids were born into it and have no way out.
The TLC reality television show, Sister Wives, will continue to air even if Kody Brown is arrested and sent to jail says the network.
Kody Brown seems so enthralled will all of the attention that he is getting from his four wives, the network and the camera men, that he does not seem to realize the jeopardy that he has put his family in. The Utah district attorney is currently investigating the family for felony bigamy. With all of the television shows as evidence, I don't know how they can choose to do anything else other than press charges. Usually the district attorney only goes after polygamist families that are involved in fraud, rape or child molestation, but with the Brown's flaunting their lifestyle to the entire nation, they may have to follow the law and arrest them.

Post a CommentRobyn may be thinner, but is not "prettier" than the other three wives. I adamantly disagree. Christine is by far the prettiest of the group. Robyn's chin is too pronounced, her face is full of harsh, sharp angles. "Thin" doesn't always mean "pretty."
The wives see him as their money pot. 4th wife is a divorcee with a huge debt awarded to her in her divorce. The 2nd wife divorced the 1st wife's brother and married Kody as a way to keep the money coming in. She pops out babies and considers herself Kody's "best friend". The 1st wife recently lost her job and seems so insecure in her relationship with her husband that she does outlandish things (promotes bigamy) in order to please him.

I just saw a few of the "Sister Wives" shows tonight. I live in the SLC area and am not from Utah so the plural wives thing is not something I am used to or would ever want to participate it. If these women want to be in this sort of "relationship," then fine, if it isn't breaking the law and/or relying on public funds to support these kids, and the people involved are adults who have not been brow-beaten into this choice. However...after watching this show I can't see how Kody got one women to "marry" him, let alone four. He is egotistical, arrogant, selfish and a hypocrite, not to mention physically unattractive. Did anyone else notice that while he's driving a sporty Lexus (cue song "it's all about me, me, me me!), wearing a huge gold watch (rolex?), and flapping his tacky receeding-hairline do around, one wife is driving a worn out old green car and another mentions money concerns; that there isn't enough for the family's needs. Sooooo, then a caring, unselfish husband would
