Sister Wives, Kody Brown's Second Wife, Janelle Brown

'Sister Wives', Kody Brown's second wife, Janelle Brown, appears to be the only wife that is truly happy with the addition of fourth wife, Robyn Sullivan.

'Sister Wives' is a realty television show on TLC (The Learning Channel). It features a polygamist, Kody Brown, and his family of four wives, 13 children and 3 step children. The family of twenty one lives in Lehi, Utah. And, yes, it is illegal, but they do not seem to care and even flaunt it openly on national television. The family is currently being investigated for felony bigamy by the district attorney in Utah.

Kody Brown met and married his first three wives 16-20 years ago. His oldest child is 16 years old. All of his wives are between 37-39 years old. Recently he decided that he would marry again, but this time he would marry a younger, skinnier and prettier (some have called her a trophy wife), Robyn Sullivan. This decision came with jealously and hurt feelings among other things.

Janelle Brown, Kody's second wife, whom he has six children with, Logan 16, Madison 14, Hunter 13, Garrison 12, Gabriel 8, and Savannah 5, seems to be completely fine with the addition of the fourth wife and three more children. Janelle works outside the home and believes that it is the right place for her. She does not want to be a stay at home mom or housewife.

Janelle leaves early in the morning before her children even have breakfast and she does not return until dinner time. Her oldest son prepares breakfast for his siblings and himself before they head to school. The children were home schooled until the family found a polygamist school where they fit in without being judged.

Kody's third wife, Christine, makes dinner every night and is the "stay at home mom" for all of the kids when they arrive home from school. This makes it quite easy for Janelle to have the lifestyle that she enjoys.

Although, Kody's first wife Meri and his third wife Christine have had jealous moments and difficulties with the addition of the fourth wife, Robyn, Janelle on the other hand has no problems with it.

Janelle is notably the heaviest of his four wives and the most jovial. She and Kody are the only two bread winners of the family since Meri lost her job after the show was aired on TLC. Now they are one salary short, but they have just added an additional home and four more mouths to feed.

TLC is allegedly in negotiations for a second season. They claim that even if Kody Brown and/or his wives are arrested and jailed for bigamy, the show, Sister Wives, will still air.
