The first stop in Rome should be the world-renowned Colloseum. Stepping into this magnificent and large open structure gave you the feeling of being in the award winning movie Gladiator or Spartacus. One spot many people may not know or visit in Rome is the "Boca de la Verdad" or "The Mouth of Truth". This is a simple stone statue housed in a small hall like room near a church. The legend has it that visitors must stick a hand inside the gaping open mouth of the round face statue. If you leave Rome with one less hand, it likely means you are a liar!

On one day during your trip you can take in both the Spanish Steps and the Trevi Fountain. The Spanish Steps will be located right near the fountain and are a splendid site to behold. The fountain itself is a gorgeous site on a sunny day and conveys a feeling of peace and harmony, no matter how much of a crowd is gathered around it. The legend here is to sit on the fountain and toss a coin over your back so you will make another trip someday to the wonderful city of Rome!
