Sitting on Pause

C. Love
You've been sitting on pause for so long
You don't even realize you stopped moving
Living, being, creating, existing
Traded for waiting, wondering, doubt, confusion
Instead of experiencing and feeling
As you sit, gather dust & collect
A mass of self doubt and disillusion
Of there being something more than what is
Justification and reasons why you sit
Waiting for what you believe will manifest
Though if it were real it would exist
You've voluntarily imprisoned yourself
In your mind, false hope and unrealized dreams
Liberate self, approve your own parole
Freeing yourself from a disillusioned soul
Take a step out in faith, walk out, be free
See how fulfilling the unknown can be
Transcend the fear that says wait on what you know
Let go, step out, try something new
Momentum reveals far move available options
Unseen while stagnant with blinded eyes
With corrected vision, you can see true colors
The future awaits, but you have to embrace it
Which can't be done hanging out on pause
Something that's really yours and worth having
You won't have to sit sedate waiting for it to materialize
As you sit...staring, hoping, wishing, gripping
Life is going on around you, without you, passing you
How much time will you waste waiting, on pause
Before you get up and join the race
Funny as you gain momentum and take a look around
There's inevitably someone right there keeping your pace

Excellent. It's amazing how we can get stuck on pause, because I know that I have been in that place, but while I was there, I brought some people out with me, I think that's why I went in the first place. I thank God for all the people who have pushed the play button, when it stopped, and I thank God for you and your giftings....God Bless You
