Situational Depression

Situational depression will pass

Do something for a laugh

Call or text a friend

And it will come to an end

Maybe even catch some sun rays

And enjoy the long, summer days

Write to release your thought

Then put it away once it is caught

The depression could be a dip in energy

From lacking vitamin B synergy

Afternoon valley metabolism

Eat healthy to jump the chasm

Make a Wellness Tool Box

Even putting in it your child's favorite socks

How about a good book

Make your depression take another look

A few stuffed animals is perfect

Putting therapy in effect

Most important, put in your smile

To make it all worthwhile.
