Six Flags Season Pass and Play Pass provide a huge discount when compared to regular tickets. One day tickets for the theme park will run you 34.99 online and 49.99 at the ticket booth with $10 extra for the Safari. The Season Pass is 79.99 and in NJ it includes the Safari. With the Season Pass you will receive a booklet with all kinds of discounts on food and store items, some of which are substantial savings. But even better are the coupons for bringing a friend free or bringing a friend for $15. There are also 10% discounts for all Season Pass holders in most of the stores-no need for a coupon. When you sign up for "Funatics Rewards" on the Six Flags website you will get emails with savings and other perks like a "skip the line pass". All of this, the theme park, safari in NJ, and coupon book are included in the Season Pass for 79.99.
The Six Flags Play Pass is 69.99 and is strictly for theme park fun. In NJ the safari is not included. Obviously if you will only visit the them park, this is a great deal but there are no coupon books. Since a one day ticket is 34.99-49.99 depending if you buy online or in the park, the savings with the Play Pass is significant. The Play Pass pays for itself in two or less visits.
In addition to the savings available with the Six Flags Season and Play passes, another perk is that there's no need to wait on the very long lines to buy tickets. There are also Season and Play pass entrances which get you in faster to the park without waiting on the ticket entrance lines. All in all if you plan to visit the park more than once, it makes sense to purchase Season or Play Passes.
Check out the Six Flags website for more information and locations of the theme parks. Season and Play Passes can be purchased online or at any Six Flags theme park.

Post a CommentJust wanted to clarify that the "Play Pass" is not available at every Six Flags location and in some locations the Play Pass costs less than 69.99 -such as in Texas(Season Pass can be less too).
