Cover Ups: Cover Ups are basically what you need to tend to your music equipment. Not only do cover ups protect dust particles from getting into your equipment, it also prevents your equipment from getting scratched up. A cover up can be professional bought or you can make one of your own with simple household items such as pillow cases and soft sheets.
Music Equipment Polish: There is a list of equipment polishers out on the market when it comes to making your keyboards, synths and mixing equipment look brand new. Not only do most of the polishers remove light scratches, it makes it shine like the first day you bought it.
Polishing Cloths: If you're not into spraying cleaner directly on your equipment, you can take an alternative route by purchasing a polishing cloth. These are usually pretty inexpensive and priced between $5-8.
Laser Disk Cleaner: This is very important if you have tons of CD drives in your studio, you must have one or multiple laser cleaners. These are disk you can simply put into and CD slot and it will effectively clean the laser as well as the inside of the drive. You can find these at any store really priced between $6-15.
Mouthpiece Disinfectant Spray: This is another important item to have for those of you that have horns in your studio. Once one person using the Sax and jumps on the next horn, you may want to consider using the disinfectant spray for all of the mouthpieces.
Dust Brush: To keep the ivory nice and shiny on your keyboards, try getting a dust brush. These can be found in almost any store for under a couple of bucks. Take note to not get a harsh brush as it will scratch the sensitive ivory on the keyboard.
