Six Natural Beauty Tips

Many women today think that they must wear loads of makeup and tons of hair products to look beautiful. Well, this is simply not true. Most women actually look better with less. Instead of spending all that time primping in the morning, women should embrace their natural beauty. Here are some tips on how to enhance your beauty, not hide it.

Deep condition your hair with olive oil

Do not spend all that money on expensive deep conditioners when you can just use olive oil on your hair. Heat up ΒΌ cup of olive oil in the microwave for 30 seconds. Apply it to your hair and leave it on for 30 minutes. Rinse it out and you will be left with soft, silky hair that you will not be able to stop touching.

Soften your feet with Vaseline

Feet can become dry and hard from walking around so much. An easy way to soften them is to apply Vaseline on them at night. Cover your feet up with socks afterwards. When you wake up in the morning, you will have much softer feet.

Get glowing skin with sugar

If you want glowing skin, you will need to exfoliate once a week to remove the dead skin cells from your face. A great natural exfoliator to try is sugar. After you have washed your face, exfoliate your skin with sugar by rubbing it into your face in circular motions for three minutes.

Wear subtle makeup

Has your mother ever told you that the secret to makeup is to make it look like you are not wearing any? Well, she was right! Makeup should enhance your features, not hide them. All you need is tinted moisturizer to even out your skin tone, cream blush to brighten your complexion, mascara to open up your eyes and lip gloss to make your lips stand out.

Eat a healthy diet

Healthy foods can do wonders to your hair and skin. Fattening foods like pizza, chips and fried chicken can make your skin and hair look dull. Fill your diet with fresh fruits and vegetables, fish, whole grains and low-fat dairy products to get the best results.

Get enough sleep at night

It is very important to get the right amount of sleep at night. Try to sleep eight hours a night. If you don't get much sleep at night, you will look very worn out and tired.
