An Easy Way to Have a Great Looking Midsection!

Everyone wants six pack abs, but not everyone wants to pay the high price for an ab workout video or product. The fact is, you don't have to spend money to get rock hard abs. Using nothing but the weight of your own body, you can be sculpted and look great in less than 10 minutes a day. The key to having great abdominal muscles is consistency. If you can work your muscles for as little as 10 minutes each day, they will get stronger and you will see results.

The question you ask is, what can I do in 10 minutes that will strengthen my abs and give me that sexy core? Although I will give you some suggestions here, there are thousands of different exercises that will all work your ab muscles. It is up to you to find out which exercises work best for you, and make the workout your own.

The most basic exercise that will strengthen your ab muscles is the push-up. To begin your exercise, do as many pushups as you can before your arms start to get tired. Once your arms are tired, take a 30 second break. After your break, get into the push-up position with elbows locked and body straight like a board. Instead of gown down, hold this rigid position for a minute or longer. After 20 seconds you will already feel the burn, keep holding until that minute is up. After this set of push-up style exercises, your abs should be feeling the burn already.

Another key ab exercise is the bicycle. Although the form of this one might seem complicated, the key to success is to be doing something with your legs. To start this exercise, lay on your back. Now lift your legs off of the ground and bring your knees towards your upper body, alternating left leg and then right. Try to mimic the action of riding a bicycle. Continue this for 30 seconds, then rest for 30 seconds. Repeat 2 more times.

After doing push-ups and the bicycle, you have already given your abs a great workout. These 2 exercises are all that is needed to attain rock hard abs. If you still think you need to work those abs a little more, repeat the workout you just did. Remember that there are many workouts out there, and it is up to you to find which specific exercises give you the best results. If you stay consistent and stick to your schedule, you will burn calories, lose weight, and have great looking abs in no time.
