You can really tell if someone is a true bodybuilder by looking at certain body parts. For example, a broad chest, huge biceps and big shoulders are some of the makings of a dedicated bodybuilder. One area that most bodybuilders seem to procrastinate on is the area of the abs. Trust me, as someone who knows, I hate working my abs as much as the next man, but if you want to call yourself a true bodybuilder, it must be done. In this article, I want to explain some of the top exercises that can be used to get the outstanding abs that you deserve.

Run, Run, Run

One thing that you have to realize is that doing a million crunches will not give you six pack abs. Especially if you have 15lbs of belly fat from drinking beer and eating what ever you want. What you have to realize is that your abs are muscles and if you want to make any muscle show, you have to get rid of the fat that is around it. The most tried and true way to get your six pack abs is to run. Cardio is the best way to burn fat away from your abs. If you would just run at least 30 minutes in the morning before you eat anything, five days a week, I promise you will see a big difference. Even if this was the only thing that you did, you would see dramatic results.

Dieting

To get ripped six pack abs, running will not be enough, one thing that you must do is watch what you are eating. A good diet is one of the best ways to get your abs to its highest potential. As stated before, if you want to see your abs, you have to burn the fat. The kind of food you eat makes a big difference if you will get that toned mid section or not. Some of the foods you want to think about eating are fruits and vegetables, lean meats such as chicken, fish and lean beef and drink plenty of water. This is the 1, 2 punch to getting the results that you want when it comes to getting your stomach muscles.

No matter what it is, everyone needs a little assistance when it comes to getting that toned core. Fat burners are a great way to get that the six pack abs of your dreams. Fat burners are a very essential aid when comes to getting rid of fat around your mid section. Here is warning about fat burners; don't believe everything you hear in your monthly muscle magazines that you are reading. You must do your due diligence and find out which fat burner actually works and which ones should be dumped in the trash. Make sure you follow directions carefully when it comes to using fat burners.
