Typeonline offers a basic typing speed test. There is text in a box and another box below it where you type the story. You click the start clock button and proceed to type. If you don't want to type all the text, you can stop by clicking the stop the clock button. Obtain your results at http://www.typeonline.co.uk/typingspeed.phpPower Typing offers a free typing test where you click on the start test button. While typing the letters turn red to indicate where mistakes were made. After typing the paragraph a pop up alerts you to results. TypingTest allows you to decide if you want a test between the minutes of: 1, 2 or 3. There's also an option of which text you'd like to type about and choosing between wpm or cpm (Critical Path Method). This website even offers a typing certificate that currently costs just under $10.00. You have to first complete the full typing test, give out a credit card and then receive it in the mail.
There's a typing games section such as playing a game similar to Pac Man but using the keyboard as the controls to improve keyboard memory. They offer Typingmaster Pro for Windows but it only contains a free demo. To have the full version it's just under $40.00 to download and just under $50.00 to receive it by mail. Of course keep in mind these prices may change at any time. Out of all 3 typing tests, I would rate this one as currently the best. http://www.typingtest.com/default.asp?m=1
