Sixty

(is the Loneliest Number that You'll Ever Do)

James R. Ford
sixty
at last
doubled up by thirty

I made it rather easily

going to settle
maybe a few days
a few moments
to gather space
gather up a ton of grace

behave
as if I were still at fifty - nine
and three quarters.

    Wow.
Thanks to all my friends for comments on birthday.
    However.......
I am not sixty years old . I am not even 50 years old.
I just wrote this one as a tribute to my sixtieth post on AC.
I was really vague, but never mentioned a birthday.
    However...........
since my birthday is in April....I'll take all as an early appreciation.
