Skaters Coach Allows Older Generation to Skate Again

As we become older we tend to not be able to do a lot of the things that we once were able to. This is because our bodies are weaker and can not take the abuse that they once could. Flexibility is gone because of arthritis, knee replacements, and a whole list of new ailments. Tom Demme was someone who was tired of not being able to skate like he used to but understood his body would not let him. This led to him creating the Skaters Coach, a product made for those who are old yet want to still be active.

The problem for Tom Demme was that he recently went through two knee replacements. His knees no longer could take the abuse that skating would put them through. However, he missed being able to skate and was getting tired of just riding a bike. The Skaters Coach is a clever creation that combines the design of a tricycle with that of a walker. No longer would you have to move at a snails pace because your body was falling apart. Here was a creation that could get you from Point A to Point B with no problems at all.

A quick demonstration of the Skaters Coach showed how easy it is to operate. An individual simply stands behind the bicycle looking gizmo. They will then reach out and hold onto the handlebars to maintain balance. On the bottom of your feet will be your roller skates and your ready to go. Simply push yourself along like you would do with your skates. You end up being able to roller-blade while having the balance and safety delivered to you by the structure of the Skaters Coach.

You can almost think of the Skaters Coach as an assistant of sorts. The sole purpose of this product is assist you in being able to skate once again. Demme understood that he could not risk falling over and needed something to give him a bit more stability. The clever incorporation of the tricycle was well thought out because he understood that if it could provide safety & balance to a child, why could it not do the same for an adult.

Some users of the Skaters Coach might feel silly because of the design. They also might feel silly knowing that it is rather similar to the tricycle that they learned on as a kid. Those people will quickly change their perception when they realize the Skaters Coach is providing them with the chance to do an activity that they otherwise would not be able to do. The product is going to be mass produced over the summer and should be available by fall time.
