Skechers Tone-Ups Fitness Review

Your Feet Will Thank You

Lee Hansen

The time had come to replace my athletic shoes. Just like a good pair of blue jeans I wanted something that would be comfortable and would get the job done. I knew just the type I wanted. Brooke Burke, the co-host of ABC's Dancing with the Stars has a commercial where she promotes Skechers.

My search led me to the local Sears and Roebuck store. With such a variety on hand, I told myself to keep focused. They had to be Skechers. And then I found them.

According to their brochure included in the shoe box, they are, "designed to help burn more calories, tone muscles, improve posture". More in-depth information can be read in the brochure and a pamphlet pasted inside the shoe box cover.

These Skechers Tone-Ups are not wimpy. This might be due to the fact that the antimicrobial anatomical footbed provides much needed comfort. Shock absorption is provided by the Resalyte midsole that conforms to the shape of your foot. The Kinetic Toning Pods and the Flex-Groove Outsole allow other underused muscles such as the gluteus, hamstrings and calf get a better workout

The color that I purchased in this line of athletic shoes was silver blue. An additional set of shoe laces were included in the box along with a DVD to give consumers more information about Skechers Tone-Ups.

These shoes have a handsome appearance and are made with superb workmanship. So far I have enjoyed using these shoes for my athletic endeavors.

I have been wearing these shoes for the last two weeks. I feel the firm support on the bottom of my feet. The original $84.99 price tag was reduced to $39.00 because they were on the clearance table. But the best part is that I was able to purchase these shoes for free because I had a $50 gift certificate. It doesn't get better than that.

I would highly recommend Skechers Tone-Ups if you're looking for a comfortable shoe for your workout or just to wear on a daily or regular basis. You can't miss them as they are packaged in a silver and blue box with a picture of the product prominently displayed on the top.

I'm fussy on shoes so I'll look into these as my sneakers are quite worn out. Thanks.
